Can an employer in the state of Florida observe an employee giving a sample after having failed a drug test? It's not a DOT test.

Thanks for the response, but it's not an answer. I agree that employers have certain rights in monitoring employees, but the laws concerning private sector employees are vague. Go to a website of a lab and see what they propose employers do to employees as far as what their "normal level" of creatinine etc. should be in their urine! And am I correct in assuming that you think I'm out to defraud my employer based on these two questions?

Employers have the right to monitor the conduct of drug testing of employees because they want to protect the operations of their businesses.
