Hi! I say go for the short hair, bed head look. Nice a tossled.

And, I must say, I apologize for the dumb comments you got on this question. Some people are soo immature!

I think the way you have it now would be easier to manage and take care of rather then a short hair style or any with layers. Growing layers out is such a pain also. If you really want to go for it though, how about a pixie, but a longer version of the real short pixie. Hope that makes sense. The style that 'Honeybee' suggested sounds cute. Good luck and I am very sorry to hear about your illness. God Bless.

Get a short spiky cut with longer fringy lengths on the side kinda random type emo looking style. Use Paul Mitchells "wax works" and you are set with a bed head look and sexy too! You have to have the longer pieces around the sideburns and some in the back to prevent more of a moon shape look.

If you wash it often and keep it clean... what's wrong with a ponytail? You shouldn't have to chop it all off just to accomidate this bastard of a disease. Kick its butt and stay beautiful!

Not like the bed is going anywhere any time soon right?

Good luck, peace and health to you!

i know nothing about hair, but..

have you tried calling the salons at a local respite care homes or elderly complexes. they might know better bed-head hair styles that will be easier to manage. they might also be willing to travel (or tell you someone or some agency that does provide such a service) to give you the help and style you need and find one that fits your face as well.

I have fibromyalgia and am stuck in ponytail mode too. Some people cut their hair really short, but I'm not "into" that! Good luck!

I looked at a hairstyle site and it said for a round face, a pixie cut is very flattering and easy to keep up. Sorry for your illness. It sounds as if you are keeping your spirits up. Good for you.
