carrots are one of the longest lasting of vegetables. especialy in the fridge. they turn, like, green when they have finaly gone bad, or they will be all soft. if they are still crisp, just wash them well, and help yourself.

Carrots keep quite a long time in the crisper but if you are going to keep them for a long unknown time it would be better just to freeze them instead.

When carrots go bad they will be slimy and soft but it takes a long time. Sometime they will grow what I call hair (like fuzz) on the outside but all you have to do is use a potato peeler and shave all that off and they are as good as new. They hold their flavor for a
long time too.

Yes & they would be moldy. Carrots last an amazingly long time. Dopn't be surpirsed to find yours still good.
I try to keep carrots on hand, so I buy the baby(mini) in single serving bags.

They last a while, they will go dry after a couple of weeks, they'll look whitish and crackly, but I think they're still edible, i eat em that way if i really want veggies with ranch!

I think they'd just be rubbery. But if they're, like, 2 weeks or older, they get a whitish, dry look to them.

I had mine for almost 2 weeks with no problems at all. No "special-2-week-old" taste either. :)
