FIRST, start off as being really friendly and approachable. if your in a room make sure your standing facing the room and casually show that your having a good time with whatever your doing. BE CONFIDENT and SMILE! be optimistic!(no one likes a downer!) & for some reason, girls absolutely LOVE to talk about themselves so make sure you ask a lot a questions about her(genuine ones! that shows your a good listener and it makes them feel more comforable & can get them to open up to you) also, girls LOVE compliments! compliments are also a really really good conversation starter too. if you find some common interests, go from there! good luck!

Start with a simple hello. Tell her how nice she looks, or that you like her perfume...(we LOVE that!!),....you know...something simple...to break the ice! Then let your personality come out!! It should be easy from there...
