Yes, thats what the Muslims believe. First of all 9/11 was totally political. I think their agenda was the freedom of Palestine and removing the American military bases from Saudi Arabia. Its hard to say what exactly went on. I believe about 1 million people have been killed in Iraq, which is more than the Holocaust. How did I get that number. If you multiply average number of people killed every day times the number of days of occupation.
Also the Americans kill more people, a lot more people but point
fingers at the Muslims.
Devaraj is totally wrong. Devaraj when you were burning the widows alive in India, it was the Muslims who stopped the practice of SATI. Eventhough Muslims ruled India for centuries but you are still a Hindu. When this reader wrote how Hindus worship monkeys, rats and snakes, I defended you.

In many respects, yes. I know a lot of Muslims and they were just as outraged by 9/11 as everyone else. There definitely has been a backlash against the Muslim religion. A small group has harmed the larger (and peaceful) majority. The Koran says nothing about condoning the killing of innocent people.
There are many people who may not agree with me, but I don't agree with punishing a whole group because of a few nutcases. If people turned off the TV and actually talked to a Muslim, many fears would be eased.

I agree totally, after 9/11, Muslims are accused to be terrorists all over the world, and you can easily see that even on Yahoo answers, while there are a lot of arguments saying that there was a conspiracy behind it all.

i m glad u asked such a Real Question around here.
YEAH, of course. just 'coz extremists killed around 3 thousand ppl at wtc attacks, a free license was issued to americans to kill tens of thousands of innocents (who had no part in wtc attack) in Afghanistan and Iraq. So, americans weren't the only victim in 911 attack, it was mostly innocent Muslims that became more a victim, due to americans backlash. war is Not the solution to every problem, tactfully things could have been handled more effectively though, if america wouldn't have interest in Iraq's oil fields and a hand (puppet regime of Afghanistan) in Asia. this american way, war won't ever end, it will continue to go on for generations to come. its Not like a movie that u kick the bad guy's a$&, and good ppl go on to live happily ever after, 'coz 1) this is NO movie, 2) the line of goodness and badness is just NOT there, as al-qaeda is recruiting new blood continuously claiming that they are on the right side, likewise americans are recruiting ppl claiming they are the good side. so, for generations each will be recruiting new blood thinking they are on the good side, when in reality None is Good. u just can't wipe out every single person of opposite camp, like the way bush is thinking, its NO video game and certainly NOT a Rocky movie. and frankly there is NO war on terror, there is war of civilization going on, war of ideology, war of culture going on. Islam has a different ideology of life other than the american ideology, so americans have waged war against Islam Not terror, as terror is just a disguise. this is kinda 'crusade' going on, since americans are conquering land after land of Muslims one-by-one, like Afghanistan, Iraq, now they have eyes on Iran, and i assume someway along the line Pakistan, and each Muslim Country. have u wondered, why americans let go of north korea? 'coz they didn't want to enter that clash of ideology at the moment, as they know that korea won't be alone and superpower like china would come to its aid, and americans already have their hands full, and can't afford to take on china as well.
that's my whole thought on the matter. Peace to All.

well 9/11 wasnt done with an intention of religion nor was 7/7 they were done for political reasons. well the core of all this lies with respect to Palestine issue. if that will be solved everything will be solved as well. it is hightime that something was done about this. u can see that all these acts of terror has been around a 10-20 years, since the unrest in Palestine and Gaza. i think its hightime something was done about it.

EDIT: to DEVARAJ -- and what about the fact that my Great Great grandpa was fighting along with Gandhi, but after independence his house was burned by the same people he fought for?. we had (literallty forced out) to leave the country and thank God we settled in Far East. it is thanks to ur people that my Great, Great Grandfather was burnt alive. that is what ingraciousness is all about. but i have never ran around killing people . even today u kill ur wives for money -- DOWRY. and who gave ur women the right to remarry?. wernt ur women shaved bald and burned alive with their dead husbands. and what about this -- a woman during her mothly cycle shouldnt touch anything in her kitchen for it would rot and decay?. and what about people like Mauryas, Ashokas, Zamindari system, Caste system, Harijan system?.. and also let me make one thing very clear -- if it wouldnt have been for muslims' co-op and coalition, India never would have got independence. have a nice day sir.

Yes. In a sense some are victimizing other Muslims, and judging from many of the questions and answers here, there is a lot of hatred toward them.

I'm sure you're inviting abuse with this question, but it should be asked. Interesting theory.

To large degree you are correct.

The vast amounts of bombs Americans through onto Islamic towns and cities in the post 9/11 era was devastating and killed many innocent men, woman, and children who were just going about their lives.

If Muslims would do to the same degree what we, the westerners, did to them we would instantly label them as barbaric pigs.

The only reason the Americans don't carry that stigma of barbarisms is because they killed those people under the so called flag of democracy.

No arguments ...

9/11 was purely the judgment of God upon a sinful nation.

While the nation was carousing and whoring their way through life, God had raised up a far away mercy less nation to destroy Babylon - the great whore...who lead millions of people across the world to their destruction by her Godless lifestyle and arrogancy

The two towers symbolized the gates to freedom and power...

Yes, those two pillars were crushed by the Hands of God. Now that the gates were destroyed, the enemy will come in like a flood to complete the job...

Yes, God was rejected and crucified by the nation... The time of recompense and revenge have arrived !
