Yes, you buy the Windows XP Home Upgrade.

BUT, you shouldn't. Upgrading from Win98 or WinMe to XP is often (not always, but OFTEN) very problematic. You would be far better off backing up your data and reinstalling XP Home fresh (you WILL need your WinMe CD).

u cannot upgrade but u can use it has a seperate os.
put a bootable xp CD in the rom and continue the other steps
