both are high on the glycemic index and should not be eaten if you are trying to lose weight. bananas are good in a leche liquado where as watermelons are better off juiced. water melons are good with salt whereas bananas are good with alot of other things like in banana splits - and you can rationalize having a bananasplit for dinner if you want, but who would want to eat an entire watermelon for dinner? watermelons are also fun if they are greased with vaseline and you are trying to play football with it where as bananas are a good substitute for a cucumber but not exactly the best substitute for a cucumber. i take bananas, cause they come in their own wrapper.

To eat banana, u just need to peel n pop it into ur mouth... whereas watermelon u need to cut it at least into 8 parts before u can taste its juicy fruits... the juice can be messy n needs to clean up afterwards...
Nutrition- i think both is good 4 health especially for constipation.
I guess i prefer banana especially, the tiny n sweet ones ;)

I like bananas because you can eat it on the go and its always in season. Watermelon is good but it is only good during summer and it makes you pee a lot.

A banana as it has far more nutritional value. A watermelon is mainly juice.

bananas....they have more nutritional value. that and theres nothing sexy about watching a girl eat a watermelon, but a banana....not so bad

Banana is better, plenty of slow release energy and rich in Potassium, which is good for heart.
