je ne sais quoi

Used to indicate a "certain something," as in "I really like Ann. She has a certain je ne sais quoi that I find very appealing."

I've been speaking french for years, and the closest thing that I can think of that sound like that are: "Je ne sait pas," and "Je ne sait quoi". It is probably the former, meaning, literally, "I don't know". The second is not used as much, and I don't even know if I spelt it or wrote it right, but it generally means the same thing but with more attitude. The former means like, "I don't know" about something in particular. The second means, "I don't know," dismissing a whole category or statement.

If you know any native french speakers or french teachers, ask them.

It's "je ne sais quoi", and it means "I don't know what". It's usually meant to describe that certain something "special" that someone has that can't be described.
