Not in body. He went to the Temple in Jerusalem and to synagogues. The Christian church was not established until the day of Pentecost which was about 50 days or so after He was crucified and 10 days or so after He ascended into Heaven. The Christian church, as described in Acts 2 was according to Jesus' design as told in Matthew 16:18. He also sent letters to the 7 churches in Asia as recorded in Revelation 2 and 3. This was after His ascension as well.

He is in church in spirit, though.

Matthew 18:20 For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them."

Hi Im a Jewish girl and Im Reformed but occasionally learn amongst the Orthodox of my religion. If you see the guys with big black hats and the women and girls with long skirts that who Im talking about. I read the one passage where Jesus' parents were traveling back from Passover when they noticed he was missing after a day and went back to find him. That seems curious to me. How could they not know he was with them and it took them a whole day to realize he was missing.

The part about him talking to the Kohanim and Levites (the ones referred to as the priests of the temple) is rather a common occurence amongst the Orthodox. Orthodox boys study and learn from a very young age and the Judaic clergy as it was back than or today is very open to the questions of children. Children are loved and encouraged to learn (this includes girls too) so its not unusual for a Jewish boy like Jesus to be able to sit amongst the elders and be able to ask them questions and learn with them.

One more thing. There is a passage somewhere in the New Testament where Jesus at an adult age got upset with the money changers at the Temple and disrupted their business. I think the implication is that Judaism had become corrupted because it allowed money changers to work there and Jesus was about to start a new religion to reform that. Well first off I'm sure a lot of business activity took place at the steps of the temple; the holy of holys was in an inner sanctum away from all of that. Whats wrong with what they were doing. They were just carrying on a legitimate business practice in the center of the city at the steps of the temple. Why would Jesus object to that? I think he must have been thought of as some sort of weird character.

Church as a gathering of Christians?

he couldn't - it was only after pentacost that the term church was used to describe a gathering of Christians.

Church as a building used by Christians to learn and worship?

nope - see above.

He taught people in market places, private homes, gardens, temples and I believe that we are never to see a building as sacred - so I think he was saying that spirituality should be freed from certain times and places.

That said - using a dedicated building as a meeting place just makes the administration-side of meeting together easier and many take that option but many gatherings are in community halls or people's homes as well.

Where is the church - the church is the people who gather together and work together.

The word "church" is mistakenly applied to a religious edifice. The Bible applies that word to a group of people. However, the Bible, at John 18 20, shows that Jesus did attend religious meetings at a synagogue and in the temple. He even taught in those places.

He went to Temple since he was a child. They sometimes refer to a temple as a Church.

A Church is often a name given to the Body that is Minstered to. The flock. The patrons.

The Temple is the building or Holy area.

They sometimes call that a Church as well, mostly in Christian religions.

Jesus regularly attended services at his local Synagogue.

[Luke 4:16] He came to Nazareth, where he had grown up, and went according to his custom into the synagogue on the sabbath day. He stood up to read

Footnote: (16) According to his custom: Jesus' practice of regularly attending synagogue is carried on by the early Christians' practice of meeting in the temple (Acts 2:46; 3:1; 5:12).

I think the answer to your question is yes, but a church is a group of people who have the same religious beliefs. You are the Church, not the building.
