good question. i haven't been able to fill up the void in my heart.

The only one that can fill the void in your heart is you. We come into this world alone, and we will leave this world alone, if we are able to love and be loved during this journey called life then we are very lucky indeed. We have to do whatever it is that makes us happy...a fulfilling career, starting a family of our own, learning a craft, or furthering our education to better ourselves. Finding happiness and filling the void is not hard if we take care of ourselves so we can be our best and give to others. Be generous...be generous with your time and with your love. If love doesn't fill the void, I don't know what else possibly could. It starts with self-love.

Just reading this question brings tears to my eyes & I don't even know what has caused the void. I have felt a void in my heart also at times & I am a Christian. What has caused this emptyness? When I have felt like this sometimes it's even hard for me to talk to friends or family about it, and I go to the Lord in prayer. I pour out my heart to my Lord all my hurt & confusion, and ask for him to show me the way. I ask HIM to bring me peace and to comfort my breaking heart.
It doesn't always happen over night, but the Lord will comfort you. I am so sorry you & yours are going through this pain, I will pray for you all.
In Jesus name

Love of the God Almighty can help fill the void. Worship only one God, and then never worship anyone else. Try and you will find peace in your heart.

Your void arises from the fundamental sense of seperation of the 'me' and the 'not me'. Only when this speration dissolves is there everlasting bliss. this could result only thro divine grace. However, if you are a seeker of enlightenment and God-realisation, I suggest you receive deeksha at the Oneness University. for more details, look at the website, www.onenessuniversity.org

It is love.
Our first love. Jesus.
However........you must first believe and receive the word of the Lord (bible) as true.
That it IS GODS 66 LOVE LETTERS WRITTEN TO HIS CREATION.
I can see you seek truth and love or at least one of them. That is you will never find either one UNLESS YOU SEEK BOTH.
GOD IS THE ONLY ONE THAT CAN REVEAL AND MAKE REAL HIS PRESENCE AND PURPOSE FOR YOU IN YOUR LIFE.
HE IS A PERSONAL AND LOVING SAVIOUR , THAT ALL NEED.
-Take care for now, grab a bible or online etc, and begin studying his word. IT WILL CHANGE YOUR LIFE FOR THE BEST!

Depends on the void you're speaking of. I had someone today on here try to tell me how I should feel or not about my spouse who passed away. I wrote a poem regarding the experience and posted it on here as a question, seeing how it's a Q&A site. Thought I might get some insight to help out. I simply asked for honest answers as to how people felt about the poem I wrote. I got an answer back from this one dude who told me I didn't punctuate correctly, I had poor spelling ( 1 typo) I was making up imaginary things in the poem and wasn't conveying it correctly and poetry should convey the realness to the experience, blah, blah, blah. I couldn't believe it. I sat at this computer and just wrote whatever came to mind and it wasn't planned or thoughout. It just came out as a way of getting some of the loss off my chest. This dude had the nerve to say that I didn't even care about my spouse enough in the way I worded the poem. Can you believe the gall of some people to accuse a stranger and attack them in regard as to what they felt in regard to the loss of one's spouse. It was so rude, cruel, uncaring, and just all around nasty, just over a simple poem that I know will never mean anything to anyone but me or what I was thinking or going through when I typed it out on here.I was venting and didn't exactly ask for compensation for publishing on yahoo. You know what I mean. It's not professional. Just real.... I can't stop thinking about this guy who went on and on about his experience with poetry, teaching, writing, etc and that he "spent " alot of time going over mine and I should feel special due to it. I know, I'm way out of whack here and ranting way beyond the point of your question and I apologize, truly I do. It's just that I'm trying to express as I did in the poetry what I did or didn't feel in regard to life's tragedies just so you can understand that it's not easy to fill voids and don't expect to get sympathy from others to help you. It's just not going to happen. It's a cruel, cold world and not one that I even care about anymore, unfortunately. The people in it don't help much to encourage one to feel better either. Sorry for all of this waste of your time.....good luck to you and hopefully you will find an easier way out of voids in our hearts in more ways than one as I did and got critiqued to the nine's....good luck
By the way, I have GOD in my life, I'm loving and caring and generous with my family, time and give to all that seek anything from me. Just thought I'd include that before someone accuses me of not being human and without belief or values, etc...........
