I agree, anyone who does not mean the Country harm should have sense to turn around and go back voluntarily at the point of a gun.
If I were holding the gun I would have the same judgement that their defiance is an act of war.

I think that the same rules that apply to our local police should apply. They can't just shoot somebody for running from them, nor should they be allowed to. For the most part I believe that illegals are a burden on the American economy, but that would not provoke me to believe that they deserve death because in their attempts to cross the border they demonstrated the basic human "flight" reflex when they became afraid of being caught. The whole al quida thing is scary but who is to determine that they are terrorists? The government has to find a way to fix this problem without shooting the common joe, or jose in this case. What about the Canadian border???? Wasn't too long ago that Canada busted a bunch of terrorists so shoudl we just shoot to kill there too????

Yes, shoot to kill. We are being invaded. Why don't we treat illegals the way Mexico does. They are automatically felons and are treated as such. Could you or I sneak into Mexico and expect free school, medical and other services - I don't think so. Why should they expect that we would do different.

If we are allowed to shoot them, would they think twice about coming into the country ?

Mexico will shoot people that come into the country illegally, and the Mexicans don't see a problem with it.

When someone who is enforcing the law and yells halt in the name of the law, I damn well will halt with my hands up and pointing to heaven. If I ignore his command I expect to be shot. There is no promise of a shot that is meant to maim someone won't in the end kill that some one. Every one should obey the law or face the consequence.

Well they do make those hard rubber? or plastic? bullets now.
They don't do as much damage, but if you get hit with one you are going down.
So yes, crossing the border illegally is a crime and should be considered an Invader.

killing in that case would be wrong. these people are coming here because life in mexico w/o work, money and security sucks. im all for border security and deporting every illegal w/ criminal records in amreica. and building a wall too for that matter.

if they run, the border patrol ought to shoot grown men only, and only with non-lethal guns (bebe guns maybe?).

edit-its sad that so many enjoy the idea of people dying. yes, illegal immigration should be stopped, and border hoppers should be immobilized; there's a thousand ways to do that without killing them. they are human beings, you know - not wild dogs.

Why wait until they run?
A quad 50 with radar sensors about a hundred yards apart ought to do it and relatively cheaply too.
