Are you kidding? College students with 0 income get credit cards.

If you haven't had some financial nightmare in the past credit cards are beyond easy to get.

A "secured" credit card works great for this.... Go to your local USBANK and ask about it.

It basically means you give the bank $1000 they then give you a credit card with a $1000 limit... you go shopping, and pay the credit card bill when it comes monthly like normal credit cards... The $1000 sits in the bank and does not get touched, that's where the title "secured" comes in.

(Do not do business with captial one or any bank associated with them) but thats a whole different story!!! TRUST ME !!

In a few months you have credit built up and you can ask for a higher line of credit. Aaaaaaaaaaah the credit cycle has now begun.... Good Luck and pay off your credit card debt EVERY month and life will be good !

Happy Friday!

Go to a major national bank like Wells Fargo, Bank of America, Citibank and tell them your like a secured credit card. Wells has a minimum of $300, for example.

After a year of on-time payments, it will no longer be secured.

Using major banks will help your credit FAR more than any other type of card. How to I know? I am the nation's #1 personal credit guru.

I barely reach the $15,000.00 marking (since my bf works i have a p/t job just to have extra money hangin' around) and I was able to get a Credit Card through Capital One... it was a small limit of $500.00 and then after three months of showing I could pay and what not they bumped me to $750.00 and they are gonna bump me up again... so yeah try them! :) ... Umm... If you have MONEY like i think some are like a $200.00 fee (in which you will recieve back in time) and you can BUY a credit card. By BUYING into it you'll still EARN your credit, and you get that FEE back, and they do give you a credit line! :) Enjoy, hopefully this helped.
