Do not listen to the person that said using prepaid credit cards. They do not affect your credit what-so-ever. Five months is not long enough to make a big difference on a credit score.

get one of those cards that you have to put cash into. it costs a dollar every time you use it, but there is no better way to quickly build up your credit score.....it's how i was able to buy a house. I went from 0 to a 790

Get a credit card from a dept. store or such, put a couple hundred dollars on it and pay it off right away, or get a small loan and pay it off right away.
