Some people don't have wisdom teeth. My dad doesn't. He thinks he is more highly evolved! Have an x-ray at your dentist ( I think it costs about $60) to see if they are lying under the gum or in the bone. If you have none, count yourself lucky and if you do, your dentist may suggest you have them out. Even if they aren't causing problems right now, you can get cysts under the gum or if there is pressure on your other molars you are more likely to suffer a broken jaw if hit because it causes a fragile point.

No its not common.. it's called LUCKY!! Not everyone gets there wisdom teeth. If you are concerned ask your Dentist to refer you for an OPG which is a large overall xray of all your teeth, bone, gums, sinuses etc.. This will show you if they are present but unerrupted or if they are simply missing!! Either way, good luck and remember just because u dont have wisdom teeth dosnt mean that ur not wise!! Keep smiling

I'm 25 and still have my wisdom teeth, i think it's pretty common. I did have an x-ray done on my mouth and found that my wisdom teeth are setting in my jaw crooked, and when and if they do decide to finally show, they will have to be surgically removed! WHY? because when they start emerging the are gonna start pushing my back teeth up and out....OWWWW! hope they stay where they are!

Not everybody has wisdom teeth. Those that do have them don't always have 4. Those that a person does have don't always "come in," but may remain permanently inside the jawbone. What's normal? You're normal as long as your wisdom teeth (if any) don't cause you any trouble.

Yes. Perhaps there is no room at the end of your jaws for them to come out, they might be inside your gums. This could cause some problems, like pushing the other teeth or infections, but if you are not feeling anything (pain) you're OK. You can have an Xray to see if they're there, but I wouldn't have them removed if they didn't present some problem. Many doctors remove them as a precaution, but I think there is no reason to interfere if... there is no reason for it.

Some people's wisdom teeth never come in. Most likely there was not enough room in your mouth. You will be fine.
