Dental schools do work for little or no cost, look at a major university that has a dental program, also if you are a student sometimes you can opt for extra insurance that pays dental, last of all if it is real bad you can go to human and family services and if you are low income they can give you a meidicaid card temporarily, If you have that many problems with your teeth it can cause serious medical problems besides cosmetics, your general health might be at risk! So if it is that bad get a medicaid card, you cannot go around sick ill or having problems eating because of a problem that could have been resolved. It hurts to swallow your pride sometimes but your health is too serious to ignore. Goodluck!

Hey.. I hear u gal!! Being a student, are you on a consession??? If so you are in luck.. You need to ring the communtiy center in you local area and tell them that you are on a consession and that you are having trouble with your teeth (pain and bleeding) Your name will be placed on a waiting list so ensure that you tell them how much pain you are in and be persistant! U usually have to pay a VERY small price to contribute. In Australia u have to pay $50 and you recieve approx $400 of treatment!! That it'll be a great start for you and will help in restoring the rotting teeth and help tio control the gum disease... Let me tell you also, im a dental nurse and have been for 8 years.. In my time i have seen some terrible mouth conditions, but remember thats y we are here, so pls dont be embaressed!! or terrified!! atleast try not to be! if you find someone who will do it all for free, u would be very very lucky!! Good luck and keep smiling

You should look in your phone book or internet search for medical charities that would be the first place to start.
I don't think most dentists would do work for 'free' but I'm sure alot would greatly reduce their fees if you are truly in need.

Sometimes you can go to a "dental school" where the students are operating with licensed doctors' supervision and the cost is either very low, or free all together.

Contact your local or state dental association and and see if there are any dentists who provide free or reduced cost care for low-income, disabled or senior patients.
Call your local health department and ask about health centers that provide dental care for free or on a sliding scale.
Go to a dental school, if there is one near you, for reduced costs.
Check http://www.toothwoman.net to see if low-cost or free dental services are available near you.
Check http://bphc.hrsa.gov and choose "Find a Health Center" to see if there is a low-cost clinic near you.
Check http://www.nfdh.org/DDS.html to see if your state has a "Donated Dental Services" program. D.D.S. is designed to locate dentists who will give free care to patients who are financially compromised due to medical problems. Not all states have D.D.S. programs.
