Get RID and follow directions. Make sure you really go through her room and the house for that matter and wash everything in hot water or throw away stuff that doesn't really matter. Bedding is really important to wash in hot water. Pillows too! or buy new ones. Take the bedding out while she is in the bathtub. After you have washed her hair use that comb for lice. Take her outside in the sunlight and pull out the eggs. They adhere to the hair shaft. They are shiny in the sunlight and easier to see than in any other light. If you don't get rid of all the eggs, they could hatch and cause the lice thing all over again. Then in about 7 days I think...do it all over again! If you follow this way you won't have anymore trouble. You just have to make sure the kid who brought them in is treated. It could be a vicious circle.

You can use mayo and put it into her hair real good and then put Saran rap around her head let it stay in for alteast 5 to 7 hrs this will kill lice and eggs. Rinse her hair then wash good, you will have to pick any eggs and lice out of her hair but they will be dead and this will also give her hair a shine and also be very soft. I must say that there will be an odor and she may get sick from the mayo smell but this has work if you don't have the money to get the shampoo at the drug store.
Best of luck!

The best Method To Kill Lice and the eggs is a special shampoo called "Mata Pojos" you can find it at any drugstore wal-mart,wal-greens, cvs and etc..........
What you do is apply the shampoo "Mata Pojos" go by sections of her hair it's very strong and apply alcohol after you applied the shampoo Mata pojos wrap her hair with a plastic bag leave for at least 1 hour, then rinsed it out and comb her hair with a special lice comb it comes inside the box of the shampoo! Trust me it really works i used this method when i had lice in middle school and then last year!
Also immediately wash all her blankets, pillow cases, spray down her bed with a special spray made for lice and the whole entire house if possible!

Get lice shampoo from the drugstore. then a little lice comb and comb her hair for hours doing little sections at a time. dip the lice comb in vinegar between passes through the hair, as this loosens the "glue" the lice use when laying their eggs. Make sure you wash all clothing she has worn and bedding in hot water before she uses it again.

I've heard a lot of tales. Vinegar, Mayonnaise, Turpentine, Kerosene.... Once you get rid of this batch and have cleaned your home thoroughly be sure to spray your daughter's hair with hairspray each day. Lice are attracted to clean hair despite what people say. Try only washing your daughter's hair every other day. I had lice in 3rd grade and my grandma bought Nix. It is expensive but does the job. She washed my hair and scrubbed hard on my scalp. Then she used a fine tooth metal comb to comb out every possible sign of eggs, nests and lice infesting my hair. A man down south actually let his daughter pick out a wig and he shaved her head bald.

You can use an atis leaves by grinding the leaves until water comes out. Then, put it on your hair, cover it with a towel or shower cap for 30 minutes to 1 hour. Rinse. It will help kill the lice and eggs fast.

a special shampoo like RID a fine tooth comb and a bright light, sunlight works best if you have a private yard, wash all bed linens in hot water, put everything that cant be washed in the dryer on high heat, if you have things like stuffed animals put them in a plastic bag and close it up.. I am sorry I forget how long but its a few days I think. Also baby oil smoothers the lice but this treatment takes a few shampoos afterwards.

The quickest and best way to get rid of the pesky devils is a product called RID that can be found in most drug stores, grocery stores and department stores, it is as simple as washing the hair, combing it with the special comb and dry the hair as usual. Double treatments are recommended.

If you can't afford to pay for "Rid" in the store, go to your local Health Dept. and let them examine your daughter's head to determine how bad it is. They sometimes prefer people to go to them and do that so they can document it and have the information to see what areas of town may have a lot of cases at certain schools. Anyway, They will give you some medicine for free for the whole family and they will explain how to use it.
