there is no god. That they created humans thousands of years ago and can prove it. What would you say if you knew there was a committee set up in the world to intervene this communication and decide if the people of the world should hear this information?

I would say that was the most successfully kept secret in the world and for no purpose. People will believe what they want whether the evidence bears them out or not. There is no way a committee could keep that secret anyway. It's a rare thing for any group to keep anything entirely secret for long and this is one that someone would have to tell a spouse or friend.

Exactly my point! You don't have to go so far as to say "they" created humans. It's enough that "they" exist. Are they heathens? I don't think so. It would be the end of organized religion as we know it when it is recognized that the universe is vast and contains life other than our own. How would you explain the dogma? Does Jesus have to "appear" on every planet in the universe and have to get re-crucified for an "object lesson?" Does "god" have to have another billion immaculate conceptions with Xena from Planet X? LOL.

I'd think it was very ridiculous, lol .. I hope you wouldn't believe such a thing? Seriously, it takes faith to believe in God and the Bible. Since your question is totally hypothetical, I'll give a hypothetical answer that "if" beings were out there and said they created all this, I'd first tell them I didn't believe them and would show them the Bible and how nothing but God can create all things. Then they could become honest Christians and get real. ;-)

People would continue to believe whatever they want, at times holding themselves down as well. Its called cyclic existence, Buddhists believe that people do not reach enlightenment because they view the world the way they want to instead of how it really is. So its needless to say that the aliens would not be welcomed by many.

What if an alien race shows up claiming to be God. Could Adam and Eve possibly have been alien's put here to inhabit the earth?

I would say cool, then hit them in the head with a shovel and take their ship and explore the galaxy. On a more serious note, if the aliens really wanted to tell us that we were lab experiments, why would they only tell it to certain people and not everyone at once?

I would not care - people tell me that on yahoo answers all the time that think they are far more advanced than I. :)

I would have a chance to prove my faith, and worship underground. There is no faith needed when I know that I am safe
My bible tells me not to be afraid of the one who can take your life, but be afraid of the one who can take my life, and soul too.

I suppose the same thing you would think if those same beings came and told you that there was a god and they could prove it.

Probably about the same thing as you would do if God himself revealed himself and said he was sick and tired of the people playing games by pretending to ignore him.
