We could easily turn this question around on the guys too. You know, I think some men and women don't realize they do it and some do it to test a person or find out how honest or interested they are. Of course, it's not nice of someone to do this, personally I think it shows a lack of maturity and self esteem, but it might be okay to put up with it for a short time for someone you feel is worth it. Just stop before you get to the point that you feel like a doormat or lose respect for yourself because she will probably will lose respect for you too.

Well, since some women have been hurted in a recent relationship, it's hard for us to trust another man in our lives cuz I'm pretty sure no one likes to be hurt, if she's in a bad mood, ask her why and if she wants to talk about it.
And dont try to play the sympathy card where you "comfort her" enough to sneak a touch....-_-
I hate it when guys do that...oops, sorry, I kinda just reflected on your question there! XD

It is the nature of humans to bring baggage over into our new relationships. It is not just a female things guys do it just as often. It take a strong person to go into a relationship without baggage.

If a woman has a poor experience with a man (or woman) then she's going to hold it with her until someone can prove her knowledge wrong.
