Will Crater Lake be open a week from today?

I'm curious... my friend who lives in Portland says that there is already 12 in. of snow. The roads close in winter and I want to see it while I'm there.

Crater Lake is open year round, unless the roads are blocked by snow. We usually do not get that much snow here. The lodge at Crater Lake is also open year round. If you get the chance to visit this national treasure, by all means do so. This is one of the most beautiful and scenic lakes in the world. Enjoy!!!
