It depends...I'd be honest and upfront, and let the person know that I was moving, and indicate whether the interest was in a long-term relationship or whether I was just looking for someone to hang out with until the move.

But why limit my options or my fun until the move? I could be overlooking someone with whom I could have a great and meaningful relationship, or at the very least would be passing by several fun nights out on the town...

If there was someone looking for a long-term relationship that I wasn't interested in that way, I would date that person, though.

Well, I've always said no . . .and I've been single for while now, because I move so often! I guess I would still say no. It's not enough time to know if you want to stay together, but it IS enough time to become emotionally attached. I've also found that I go into a relationship not caring as much when I know I'll be leaving.

Yes... but only with the understanding from BOTH of us that I was leaving.

The tough thing would be to make sure that emotions didn't grow. But to go out as a companion and nothing more....sure I would.
