No, the problem is they are hidding amongst the innocent people, which makes it difficult to pick them out. It's like trying to find a needle in a hay stack. You don't know you found it until you got stuck by it. Where as the NATO and all the other armed forces that have been there have been dressed in uniforms and stick out like sore thumbs, so they are very easy targets for the taliban to target. Plus, the taliban and terrorist don't care whether or not they kill any innocent people, so it's much easier for them to hit their targets.
If we could take the same approach, then we could have just blown the snot out of the whole country and killed just everybody without even setting a foot on the ground, then send in the troups to go through and wipe out the few hundred or so strays.

Presently it would seem so. The situation will not last but it is an ugly, unnecessary war. The country has been in a state of civil war for so long that every small victory for the people seems to be ethereal. Just who are these Taliban and why do they have so much power ? I don't know. Almost every gain made against them seems to generate more fierce fighting than before.

Taliban is much more fanatic...but i would say hands down NATO are stronger.Modern weaponry and tactics usually win...it also has to do with the soldier himself.

Only a person with an IQ of less than an amoeba would think that. Is that you?
On this planet (that's Earth to you), there are people with a conscience and morals, and then there is everyone else. People of conscience try to do things that support human dignity.
The Taliban would slit their own mother's throats to gain one instant of personal gratification. People of conscience try to avoid collateral damage in war.
Pick your own side before the knife is against your neck!

Not stronger at all. They are, however, able to violate all the rules of war with impunity, until they are captured or killed.
They use civilians as human shields, wear civilian clothing, torture and/or kill their prisoners, ad infinitum.
They have no honor.

No, that is why they don't want a pitched battle because they will find out that Allah isn't with them
