Was in love with him for the first 9-10 years and have fallen out of love.

most definitly because what it is , is that u love the feeling of knowing that he is always there he is all u know , its the feeling of knowing that no matter what he has always been there , but 2 be fair let him know its not fun being in the dark not knowing whats going on, my advice is either go all the way or cut it off now bcuz its gone on way 2 long .

Yes, unfortunately it is possible. I'm afraid that I'm in a similar situation, except it's 20 years instead of 12. I still love her, but it's not the same love as it used to be. I know, that must make me a bad person or something, but I can't help how I feel. I really hope you can find resolution in your relationship, on way or the other. Good luck and God Bless!

of course, loving someone means you care about their well being and feelings. Being in love with someone is love on an entirely different level. Romance, a connection and devotion you only give to that person for that time. Being with someone for that long, of course you love them. But don't be afraid if your no longer in love. Off and on again relationships are hard and not for the best. Try staying friends and moving on

yes this proven. over time you just grow apart.and kind of become like a brother or sister that you love.you will always be there for the person but you just don't have the love bond that was there before.

omg.. do you know me? i am going through same thing with that. i even made a definite choice to stop seeing other person a year ago, but still think i love them. i figure it is just habit.
