It all depends on circumstance. I married a guy I met in second grade. We were not friends in school but we got along well and had secret crushes on each other but did not find out until we were in our 20s. We've been together pretty much since. Most high school relationships don't last but my grandparents met in 8th grade, quit school and got married. I lost count of how long they've been together. I think they lost count too.

Pssh--it's far from true. It couldn't be further from the truth.

When people go to college, a new door is opened up. Why stick with guys from high school when there are so many other possibilities?

Sure there are people who marry people from their high school. It's not very likely though since many couples meet and court during college, not high school.

You change a lot from 18-22, that's one thing. The next is that the maturity levels of the GUYS are different.

Sounds like BS to me.
I dated a boy from High School for 4 years (16-20) and did not married him. We broke up and 2 years after I met this wonderful man and we got married 5 months after.
Have been happily married for 5 years now

Actually it's the opposite. You may have links or connections from people that you went to high school with, that is more likely
