Only if both parties are determined to have it that way. It's possible. And I value my guy friends. Sometimes, if you know someone TOO well, it's best NOT to get involved with them, if you know what I mean. If you want to get it on with your best friend, you have to really think it over and ask if it's worth losing your friendship over if things don't work out, because you're taking a 50 50 chance that it may or may not. So be ready to deal with whatever consequences, realize life's too short, make a decision and stick with it. If the other person doesn't dig it, no pressure.

Depends, usually a crush occurs in there at sometime between either of the parties. I have guy friends. There are quite a few that stay platonic...but most of them have started or developed into a crush or relationship. It just takes communication.

Honest answer is that it is very tough. Opposite always attract to each other this a universal truth. It may start with platonic thing but in longer time physical thing bound to come.
