That's very strange behaviour. I would explore all possitiblities. I would keep my eye on both of them and not leave her alone and I would talk with her and explore her behavior. It is quite exessive and genereally uncalled for, which you seem to also agree with...
I can't see why a three year old gets traumatized by a make out session, alone.

I hate to be so negative but have you had her checked for any abuse symptoms or even a mental disorder. I have a 4 & 1 yr old who have seen my fiance' kiss me. My fiance' is the father of my 1 yr old and I would expect him to be jealous of our relationship but he's not and if he is he's not acting that way or any other way. You need to ask your son what happened and talk to your daughter and find out what REALLY happened. Something is up and your overreacting and making things worse. You definitely DON'T EVER LOCK YOUR CHILD IN HER ROOM BECAUSE SHE'S SCREAMING AND CRYING. THAT IS THE TIME FOR YOU TO REALLY BE COMPASSIONATE AND GET TO THE ROOT OF THE PROBLEM. DON'T YOU HAVE OTHER FAMILY SHE CAN TALK TO OR THAT YOU CAN TAKE HER TO UNTIL THE HOUSE IS A LITTLE SAFER OR CALMER. AND ANOTHER THING WHY THE F*** IS THE GF BACK AT YOUR HOME, YOU NEED TO GAIN CONTROL OF YOUR HOUSEHOLD. THAT'S F***ING RIDICULOUS. YOU NEED TO BE CALLING YOUR FAMILY NOT ASKING PEOPLE ON-LINE TO HELP.

Your son was doing a lot more than "making out".... As for the 3 year old, she'll get over it. There's nothing you can do and the more you try to help her the more you remind of what she thinks is terrifying. She's making a big deal out if it because YOU are making such a big deal out of it. As for your 13 year old....his behavior is much more than inappropriate. Put your foot down and ground him for life. You should probably take him out to the wood shed and blister him as well.

That is a really odd reaction to a kiss. My four year old will cover his eyes when he sees someone kiss in person or on tv. But nothing more. Are you sure there wasn't something more than kiss going on? Maybe you should ask her what she saw in private.

has she never seen people kiss before? or was it more than kissing? I think you need to tell your on to do this stuff in private, and you need to teach your daughter that the things she saw are natural and older people do them, and its OK, thats the big thing, because you don;t want her to have negative connotations towards intimacy as she gets older.

Oh my! I think that you should sit down with her first and tell her that bubby is getting older. Have him explain what it was that they were doing. They were doing grown up stuff cause he's growing up. Then, sit down with your son and have THE TALK. You're too young, safe practices and all that jazz.

lovely.....has she not seen you and your husband kissing? why would seeing them kissing make her scream and cry? Are you sure its not a jealousy thing?
Have you asked your son exactly what making out they were doing????
Good luck sweety you have me stumped. Maybe a little tylenol and sleep will make her snap out of it.

if u r searious -
as a baby, my daughter originally thought her mother and i were brother and sister and that eventually she would marry her own brother - now all that changed when she hit 4 or 5.
it might be a natural reaction of jealousy that your daughter sees her brother with another girl.
