A hammerless revolver is a great Concealed carry piece. With a hammer you have to worry about catching the hammer on your clothing. If the hammerless model is dropped it is less likely to discharge. These are a couple of the pros.

Now a couple of cons. With it being hammerless it's double action only which means it also has a higher trigger pull strength than a hammered revolver. If you have a hammered model it will be either single or double action. When you manually pull back the hammer it makes the trigger pull between 2 and 5 pounds. Also most hammered revolvers have a safety which many double-action only revolvers don't.

There are many differences between the two. And whichever you prefer is what you should carry. However, take the time to learn all the features of your weapon.

Eagle said it all, Thanks.
I was shot with my SW 357 Mag hammered revolver. I fell flat on my face, a properly stored loaded (hollow-point) hit the concrete Garage floor, then hammer hit the concrete step and went off 8' behind me. Entered the inside of knee and came out at where the watch pocket would be on your jeans. Taught Hunters Safety for the Wildlife & Fishery, so that was a hard one to live down.
* Was on Safety too.

I'm not sure, but try looking up reviews @ Guns and Ammo, or other similar web sites.

The major pro is it doesn't snag on clothing when drawn.

please buy yourself a new gun,preferably a glock 36(.45 ACP) or a Taurus Millenium in 9mm.they are much safer and much easier to conceal than your revolver.
