Always to be on the safe side you can call you pediatritions office and tell the doctor what the symtoms are and he,ll tell you what needs to be done.
Does tylenol take down the fever at all?
Be careful if its the flu--two is young and the flue does kill young children every year.

You need to keep track of the fever and how high it goes. Two days isnt too bad. If your medicating him or her at home with childrens tylenol or motrin you can control it. If the fever does not respond to the meds then you need to take him to the dr. If you notice any change in the way he is acting or if he becomes less awake or lathargic as we call it. You need to take him to the ER. But if you can control it with meds he should be ok. However if the fever returns after about 4 days then schedule an appointment and keep him or her on the meds. Should 1 medication not work try the other. Hope the little guy or girl feels better soon. Take Care

NO it is NOT safe. Temps will spike quickly in a little one. You risk seizures. There is a reason for a fever. Get to the DR ASAP, if not quicker at the ER. Fever is nothing to fool around with.

Take that child to the doctor. A fever is a sign something is wrong.
My sister's neighbors boy age 4 had a fever and she put him in bed gave him children's Tylenol and he was dead by morning. Spinal meningitis.

It's high enough that you should take him to see a doctor. Better safe than sorry.

Why have you waited so long? Your child is suffering, if you haven't given him children's over-the-counter medicine by now, go the the ER.

Are you going to let him die?

I would contact my doctor. Monitor your babys temp and other symptoms, any rash? etc. You want to be safe.
