There Valid Reason is to have a better future for themselves/families...
but yes you are right it is against the law...so is many other things that is written in the Legal Law Books of man kind...does not mean they all come to be rapist or such means..I'm sure they do know they are committing a crime...but most people of ALL kinds do what they have to do to survive in this dog eat dog world...some just do it with better knowledge and some just don't have choices but to go against the law...That's why they have Jail/Prison as a punishment! In the first place, illegal immigrants account for a very small percentage of crime, they don't want to be noticed here. For those with the welfare argument, you have to provide valid proof of citizenship to receive aid. You should be crying for welfare reform to get all these lazy US citizens off welfare and out to work, and for them to quit having babies to make more money, that is what is sickening. I'd like to meet a person who in their entire life has not violated any portion of US, State, County, City, or Penal Code, there are hundreds of thousands of violations listed. You would be hard pressed to find anyone. If you truly aren't racist, stop buying into the racist propaganda that is spewed on television news. Educate yourself, don't count on the media to do it for you.
PS You may want to stick to cut & paste cause when you type, well, let's just say you need to work on your communication skills. You remind us why we have to hire illegals to do certain jobs.

We need to worrie about our country not about everyone eles. There's alot of jobless homeless people right here in the U.S.A. Hell's kitchen New York, Youngstown Ohio, L.A. California, New Orleans, ect.. we are hurting. It really suck's because we have been turning our backs on each other. There is a two wars going on the one in Iraq and the one in our own country, I hate it. Divided we fall!

It's all in the point of view, and it has a very simply answer as to why.
The entire ordeal is like stealing a loaf of bread to feed your hungry family, a great philosophical question... would you considering the man that steals the loaf of bread a criminal? Same question applies here... would you consider a person who crosses the border looking for better living conditions for his family also a criminal?
Yes, in the sense they are breaking a law, they are criminals... just like the man who steals the bread.... but when the reason for why they broke the law comes into play, they are not as criminal as they would seem, again, like the hungry man.
This is how the see it, and it's the reason "why they don't not believe the are criminals" as you put it.
They do not see themselves as someone who is breaking a law out of their own selfish endevour to screw the owner of the shop, that's why they can't consider themselves criminals, like you would consider them criminals. They are regular, honest people who have broken laws out of necessity.
On the other hand, the shopkeeper, which is you... has just been screwed out of a loaf of bread he needed to feed his family, and that is your point of view, and the reason why you DO see them as criminals.
...then again, this is a bit different, because illegals do contribute back to the community.
that is the point of view on both sides, and it'll never change!
...hence, why they do not consider themselves criminals.

1- illegal mexicans are not the majority any longer
2- not all are criminals.. rape/murder/steal
3-i have some mex friends that are the sweetest people in the world and work just as hard, sometimes harder than myself(the american)
4-it is true that they get away with practically everything there, one of my friends said how bad the govt is about setting limits
5- any mexican that was a criminal but didnt think so was either, insane - didnt care about life - think its just the thing to do
but i dont think that its just mexicans i have seen many different races go down the criminal path and think that its not a big deal

Do you like things at cheap prices??
They provide the bulk of labour in California,
and get payed alot cheaper than an american citizen.
Without them alot of thigns would be more expensive, and i doubt there would b many people willing to do wat they do.
Without them anyone livign well off in Claifornia and many other places in the states wouldnt be so well off.
Though I dont agree with the treatment they get (low wages, suffer racism), they are there to earn money.
People shouldnt be complaining, cuase they got alot to thank these people off, and maybe actually head down to mexico and see how alot of people live.
O and i suggest watching a movie called "A Day Without A Mexican" in a funny way shows wat would happen if all the mexicans dissapeared from California.

They come here because there is work for them . MONEY. Pure & simple. Empolyers stop hiring them I gaurentee you they will stop coming Their families are all still in Meeheco so what money they make is sent back there to support 40-50 others.

WHAT the hell we go any time any place for any dam lie to blow up shoot steal oil and what ever we want to do to any nation and then after we rape them of all they have we look for another victim, and we want to deport because a spouse wanted to live with her american husband, what a national crime ,we are such models for the rest of the world, NOT. if you had ever delt with the U.S immigration sevice you would have nothing more to say. they are as unfair as the Devil him self.
