Salam. It is sunnah to have 2 dates to break your fast followed by some fruits and nutritious drink. This is because the stomach that has been resting throughout the day need to be introduced gradually to heavier food. Then, perform your maghrib prayer and afterwards you can have anything you want but try to limit your intake of liquid with solid food because this might induce drowsiness and make you become lazy to perform the tarawih prayer.

Also, if you can help it, try to avoid breaking fast wiht food that has been touched by fire i.e. cooked. This is because fire, as we know it, is what the devils are made of thus it is not adviseable that we break such a holy act with food that has element of the devil in it. This avoidance of food touched by fire for breaking fast is not a hadith but it has been preached by many ustadz and i take it in because it sounded perfectly logical to me.
Wallahu A'lam..

Welcome to be a good follower of Islamic religion.Congratulation with your first fasting.I hope your fasting and other good deeds in this ramadhan will be received by Allah the only one God.
It is better for if break your fasting by eating sweet and soft foods such as dates for about 3 to 5 ,bananas stewed with coconut milk and sugar, lumpy syrup with rice or sago and coconut milk etc/.After that you can continue to eat other heavy meals after you pray for maghrib..It is practically if you have more dates in your refrigerator.

Any Halal food.
But first break with dates or fruits, if not available, break with water. Then eat halal foods.
Congratulations on your first Ramadan fast.
