They use multiple styles of AR's. H&K MP5, in 9mm, and Colt or similar .223 carbines. They also carry M4's. These are carried by the Entry and Perimeter teams. Normally the sniper/observer are equipped with Binoculars, and usually a Remington Model 700 in .308 or another .308 caliber rifle. With high powered scope.

Some of the other weapons they carry are 12 ga. Shotguns with 00 buck or slugs, gas launchers, and evey officer also has his sidearm.

It depends on the team. There is no "standard" from State to State. MP5's, AR15's, various .308's, specialized sniper rifles. There are so many it is impossible to list every conceivable weapon they could use.

well you know all those assault rifles they said were bad for the public ,they now have as well as military equip.
