Just because you believe in hell does not mean it exists.
So where is the evidence that there is one.

There isn't any evidence that Hell exists, but there is much that it doesn't. The Bible has many contradictions and scientific errors, so that casts strong doubt upon anything in it. There is a program shown occasionally on History Channel about the history of the idea of Hell. I've watched other things, but I may see it some day. The Satan or the Devil was copied from Ahriman the evil god in Zoroastrianism of Persia. Older Bible accounts say God-Yahweh inspired David's census, but parts written after the Persian captivity say the Satan did it. It's neater to have separate sources of good and evil, but the Bible lacked that until the Hebrews were in Persia. This shows the Satan is fiction, and if he is, Hell is also fiction.

the firey lake is the hatred and fear that consumes your soul, for every soul must be cleansed before heading to the Nexus. Man has turned the bible into a fairy tale, using profound imagery and visuals to scare man away from is emminent doom. Metaphor, it is all metaphor, the beast, the lake, the harlot of Babylon, all metaphors.
oh, yeah, Hades was originally the underworld in greek mythology, not a place of fire, a place where every soul would go, good and bad a like, where they lived out their eternal life or eternal punishment, so to those that quote that as an original bible term you are all wrong, that was taken from Greek mythology, thus proving that the idea of hell was around several thousands of years before the bible, no one try to argue that, it is proven FACT.

There are three words translated "hell" in Scripture:
Gehenna (Greek): The place of punishment (Matthew 5:22,29; 10:28; and James 3:6)
Hades (Greek): The abode of the dead (Matthew 11:23; 16:18, Luke 16:23; Acts 2:27)
Sheol (Hebrew): The grave (Psalm 9:17; 16:10)
There are those who accept that hell is a place of punishment, but believe that the punishment is to be annihilated—to cease conscious existence. They can’t conceive that the punishment of the wicked will be conscious and eternal. If they are correct, then a man like Adolph Hitler, who was responsible for the deaths of millions, is being "punished" merely with eternal sleep. His fate is simply to return to the non-existent state he was in before he was born, where he doesn’t even know that he is being punished.
However, Scripture paints a different story. The rich man who found himself in hell (Luke 16:19–31) was conscious. He was able to feel pain, to thirst, and to experience remorse. He wasn’t asleep in the grave; he was in a place of "torment." If hell is a place of knowing nothing or a reference to the grave into which we go at death, Jesus' statements about hell make no sense. He said that if your hand, foot, or eye causes you to sin, it would be better to remove it than to "go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched: where their worm dies not, and the fire is not quenched" (Mark 9:43–48). So I guess the real question to ask is whether or not Jesus was truthful and I believe He was.
The Bible refers to the fate of the unsaved with such fearful words as the following:
* "Shame and everlasting contempt" (Daniel 12:2)
* "Everlasting punishment" (Mathew 25:46)
* "Weeping and gnashing of teeth" (Matthew 24:51)
* "Fire unquenchable" (Luke 3:17)
* "Indignation and wrath, tribulation and anguish" (Romans 2:8,9)
* "Everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord" (2 Thessalonians 1:9)
* "Eternal fire...the blackness of darkness for ever" (Jude 7,13)
Revelation 14:10,11 tells us the final, eternal destiny of the sinner: "He shall be tormented with fire and brimstone...the smoke of their torment ascended up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day or night."
You used to believe and now you have forsaken your faith, my question to you would be can you prove it doesn't? Ray Comfort has a teaching on this question and says that to say Hell doesn't exist is the greatest gamble you can take in life. I agree.
Another interesting one is Pacals Wager - its on wikipedia if you're interested.

The person at the DMV counter that tells you the line that you just waited 2 hours in is mislabeled and the line you need to wait 2 more hours in is 6 feet to your left.
Cashiers at fast food restaurants that can't count or read.
Insurance claims adjusters that make you fill out "just one more" form.
This is the proof of hell on earth and WHY people like to think there is a hell after death. I like envisioning the people that make the above unbearable damned forever to a punishment fitting the torment they inflicted on others.
I am sure you can think of your own examples.

God also said to Adam, "See this fire kindled by Satan around your cave; see this wonder that surrounds you; and know that it will encompass about both you and your descendants, when you obey his command; that he will plague you with fire; and that you will go down into hell after you are dead.
Then you will see the burning of his fire, that will be burning around you and likewise your descendants. You will not be delivered from it until My coming; just like you cannot go into your cave right now because of the great fire around it; not until My Word comes and makes a way for you on the day My covenant is fulfilled.

Take a look at the violent universe, where stars explode, black holes capture matter and light as it passes near it, galaxies collide violenty, stars are born in exploding nurseries, massive explosions in Suns to keep them ignited....
So, It becomes natural to imagine that there's a Hell is out there somewhere...

True. Just because we believe in something doesn't make it real.
But, there some who have actually claimed to have witnessed Hell for themselves.
Either by visiting there, or the Damned coming back to warn them!!

I don't actually believe in hell fire. Why would God do that? That's like me saying, "if you love your kids but your children refuse to obey you and take the wrong course, you should repeatedly burn them over and over and over, or torture them in some similar way." If that sounds unjust to humans, imagine how it sounds to perfect God.

Luke 16:23-25 (NIV)
In hell,[a] where he was in torment, he looked up and saw Abraham far away, with Lazarus by his side. 24 So he called to him, 'Father Abraham, have pity on me and send Lazarus to dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue, because I am in agony in this fire.'
25"But Abraham replied, 'Son, remember that in your lifetime you received your good things, while Lazarus received bad things, but now he is comforted here and you are in agony.
