So today I was feeling really bad.
I had a huge headach. Head was pounding. so crazy.

Then I grabed a piece of cake.
and it all went away.
Is there something in sugar that makes headachs go away?
how does this happen?

That's wierd. Usually when I eat sugar I feel terrible afterwards. I feel like I hit a low. So I'm not sure about it making headaches go away. I know the athletes eat something sweet before they have games. But I think it's for energy. But that's good news for you. I'm glad it worked.

Sounds like you may have had low blood sugar.. When the brain looses sugar and is malnurished this can happen. It's normal.. Did you miss a meal. Do you have hypocycemia?

in my opinion, the sugar got rid of the headache because you were having a with-drawl.....does your diet consist of lots of sugar and/or caffeine normally?? Are you cutting back on sweets and/or caffeine?? if so, this is why you got the headache and why the cake cured the pain.

If you are starving or thirsty, you will get a headache. Food solves this. I don't think it necessarily has to be sugar, though.
