More than likely there is alot going on in your life right now.....either with school, family, a girl friend...take a few minutes and think about what is really bothering you...you are probably like most people and ignore the stresses in your life until they make themselves really noticed....good luck

Well, unlike most others here, I wouldn't have thought to say to go to the doctor because my first inclination was to say that you had probably gotten all worked up about going to the dance and then, for some reason, it all came out at the end of the night. Maybe you were nervous, maybe you had really high or unrealized expectations, maybe you had a lot invested (emotionally) in this evening... I don't know, but I don't think it sounded any more weird than many other teenage behaviors. I've acted like a dope at times during my teen years and am not shocked to hear your story. And keep in mind that crazy hormones are the hallmark of the teenage years. I'm sure it was embarrassing, but, trust me, when you're older ALL of your teen years will be embarrassing in retrospect. Anyway, I would hate for you to have a real medical problem and have me say don't bother to go to the doctor, so I won't actually say that. I'll just say that from what you've stated happened, I think you just got worked up over a big night.

There's obviously something going on for you, but the information you've provided doesn't contain enough detail to speculate specifically about you.
Some questions that could help you figure it out:
1. You said all was fine & dandy, but there was a moment when it stopped seeming that wasy. Do you remember what was happening when your emotional tide turned? What you were thinking about or what conversation were you having either with someone or in your head?
2. Have you been under stress lately because of things outside of school (more likely)? How about within school (less likely)?
3. Were you using any substances to get drunk or high today?
4. Have you had any special event lately? (A birthday, a wedding/funeral, etc.)
5. Any significant losses lately (for example, a sibling leaving for college, death of a grandparent, death of a pet, parents discussing divorce or remarriage)?
6. What possible thing could have happened or failed to happen that if that even had happened or failed to happen, you would not have had a crying spell?
Take a look at these questions and see if you learn something more about yourself. If you still feel shaken up, ask your parents to see a counselor or your family doctor.

I'd say your first problem is you think you are a genius. The second is you are a teenager. Most people who claim they are a genius are usually hiding some other weakness and use their smarts to compensate for it. That is not smart. However, a genius does admit when he has a problem, and it looks like your problem involves you being a teenager. Was it with a girl you liked? Or maybe she did something to you? Either way, it's called puberty and it's no big deal. Suck it up and tell your friends about it. They will make fun of you till the day you die, but it will be a growing experience, one you'll never forget and never live down, but one you'll remember forever.

You had an anxiety attack.Nothing to worry about, but you need to figure out for yourself exactly what set you off. Many people have problems in certain situations, and it is nothing to be ashamed about. Talk to your guidance counselor and let them help you figure it all out, thats what they get paid to do.

You were probably just nervous, or lonely, or both. Have a bad night? =( It could have been all the excitement.
