#32 says that the EGR vale not seated; closed voltage low. i changed the EGR valve pressure transducer/ position sensor. what else could it be? MAP, the vacuum switch? the ecu would tell me if it was the transducer or position switch.

Do i need the EGR? if i disconect it, will it hurt my car or cause any drivability problems?

thanks you guys.

I see you replaced the EGR position sensor... you will need to replace the EGR as the valve for some reason is not depressing on the switch like it's supposed to (seen it a couple of times)

Have put a washer on top the plate in the EGR, then tightened the sensor back on to fix one truck already...

EGR is for emissions and with out it, car won't pass emissions with NOx too high.....

No, it won't hurt to unhook it . If you have replaced the EGR and its position sensor, then it could be the vacuum regulator for the EGR. No other sensor should cause this code. The ECU may have a bad ciruit and it my be the ECU, if you don't have to have emission testing I wouldn'y worry about it.
