Girls how do you like guys to approach you?

I see tons of good looking women but I just cant bring myself to approach them. What would be a good way to approach somebody you have never met before?

For starters you should make sure theres nothing on your face (any kind've food crumbs) and then go up to the girl you desire and start up a nice conversation with her and make sure your not coming on to strong. Smile at her and Listen to things she says and try to keep the conversation going. If you feel shes trying to end the conversation, you end it and smile at her. Give her your number and tell she can call you some time if she wants to have lunch or something like that. Most women like a little mystery and a man ending the conversation usually makes a woman wonder wheres he's going in such a hurry...and things like that. I don't care for cheesy pick up lines. I've had some men hit on me like that and it's just not my thing. I like it when a man can approach me with confidence, that's definitely sexy to me. Not overly assertive, but shows me some interest that no other woman in the room can have. Don't be arrogant. Some women like that, but I think that's a total turn-off. Conversations can be hard sometimes. Personally I like it when a man just says, "Hi. I'm ___. What's yours?" If she chats it up with you from there, just keep it going. Either she's interested or she's not. No biggie, there's plenty more where that came from. But please, don't approach a woman for a sexual exhibition. It's okay for some who want one night stands or so forth, but if you're serious about meeting women and getting to know them, take the approach of a gentleman and treat her with respect if you do start a friendship with her. If you both want to take it to the next level, so be it.

I can't answer for all women, we all like different things.

Personlly, I'm flattered if a guy comes and talks specifically to me. These days it can be so hard for people to do that, I think its great if someone has the courage to chat with me, even if they don't know me at all!

I personally don't like pick-up lines. just smile and say hi. simply say something, like how's your day?
it may sound lame to some girls, but not for me. i think it's quite an honest approach.

Pick up lines are fun in my opinion, but that's just me. I love it when a friend introduces me and the guy just acts cool- sticking out their hand for a good shake and saying, "Hi, I'm _____. It's a pleasure to meet you."
