Yes. A driver for Pepsi was caught drinking a coke. He got the boot. While you are in a company uniform, you represent the company, using a competing product is a no-no

I work for Coke. If you are drinking Pepsi while you are working you can get canned. What you buy on your time is your business, but you are also giving your money to the competition. And as long as you are not wearing your uniform when you buy it, you can't really get in trouble for it. I know several Pepsi employees who prefer Coke. They just can't buy it while working.
