Yes, it's important to get lots of nutrients into your system during times of illness. Of coure, the best time to eat healthy is BEFORE you get sick.

Soup makes one feel better but I don't know if its healthier than other foods when you're sick with a cold. Its probably best to take liquids to help flush the cold from your system. I haven't had a cold in a few years. I believe its because I take alot of vitamins and I wash my hands often.

There is a saying and I'm not sure if I have it right or not, anyone correct me if they know: "Starve a cold, feed a fever." Whatever. If I feel like eating I do, if I am sick my body tells me what I feel like eating, listen to it yourself.

why act stupid, eat what you feel like eating, it wont make a huge difference in your life, just try to eat well all the time, junk food never does you any good.
