If somebody shy tried to start a conversation with you (pretty much meaning they liked you), but stumbled over a few words would you care or is it the fact that they talked to you that counts?

I wouldn't care...and if I was into the guy, I'd think it was kinda cute!

The fact that he got the courage to come talk to me is what counts. Besides if he stumbles over a couple of words I'd think that he's being himself and is really interested in me instead of some smooth talker where the words just automatically flow.

The fact that he took the initiative to talk to me would definitely count. So what if he stumbled over a few words? That doesn't change anything at all.

Its the fact that they tried to talk to you that counts. Who cares if they stumbled a bit with their words. its kinda cute.

Of course not! Usually, when they stumble over words, that means they're nervous. It happens all the time when a guy or girl likes someone, and makes an effort to approach him or her. And that actually shows that they have feelings for you, and are trying to prove it to you.

oh no...so cute!! The fact that they have made an effort to talk to me that counts. I will just giggle if they stumble and ask them in a very cute way, "are you ok?"

It would matter because they came up to me and talked to me, and its kinda alluring when a guy gets all shy and stumbles on his words, it makes me just wanna no more about the guy.

The fact that they made an effort is the most imporant thing. As a super-shy person myself, it takes a lot of guts to talk to someone you like. And they're nervous, so it's natural to trip up.

Whoever it is, I'm proud of them, it takes courage. And if they're anything like me, they're probably beating themselves up about their little slip-ups.

It's cute, don't focus on the messed up words, the person is really hoping you won't!

They say, "it's not what you say, it's what you mean." and some say, "It's not what you say, it's how you say it." Which, in itself, can be a good or bad thing. Either way, I'd be even more flattered if a guy stumbled over his words. It means he's trying too hard. And that's cute.

The more you reach out to people... the easier it will get... and the faster you will be able to over come your shyness. If a girl shuns you because you stumbled over some words... she's not worth it!
