Hosea 4:6 (NIV)
My people are destroyed from lack of knowledge.
1 Timothy 6:10
For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.
People make money evil, the love they have.

Yeah, well, Bible isn't exactly knowledge. It has too many flaws for me to ever like it, and YES I have read it many times before. It cannot seem to prove anything, and all it shows is another religion voicing out whatever it may. Yeah, most people know the root of evil can be money, but that doesn't mean we should all read the Bible to stop it. Since when has the Bible helped me pay my taxes???

Actually the root of all evil is god. Isaiah 45:7 says that god created all including evil. It may say darkness instead of evil in some versions but that is just wrong. God is the root of all evil because if god is the creator, and nothing existed before god, than in order for evil to exist god must have created it.

An old saying goes...A rich man has as good of a chance of getting into heaven as a camel has of going through an eye of a needle.
I think that greed is the root of all evil, people spending millions on b.s. while there is starving people in this world is a sin.

incorrect
there was absolutely no currency of any kind when Satan rebelled, and then deceived Eve.
No mention of money when Cain murdered Abel.
And, the verse that you misquote as 'the root of all evil", actually says 'the love of money is cause for many injuries'.
So it is not money that is bad, it is the LOVE of money that is wrong.

The root of all evil is GREED. This was around long before money & long before your precious bible even existed. But hey, hindsight never misses does it.

Sure I knew that. Apparently I shouldn't read the Bible unless I'm filled with the Holy Spirit first. Nyeh, that's not gonna happen.

"You say that money is the root of all evil. What, then, is the root of all money?"
- Ayn Rand
P.S.: I don't trust you to figure out the answer for yourself - so let me answer it for you - production, creativity, innovation, trade, technology, and man working his hardest and his best. Would you call any of that evil?

No I don't know that, because it isn't true. How is the love of money the root cause of rape?
