I don't try to bring attention on myself, but listen to me, he just won't stop staring at me. He looks me up and down with that open mouth, loose tongue look about him. Sometimes he loses his place right in the middle of a sermon. Then he catches himself and tries to pretend that nothing was happening.

I'm not doing anything, really. Why does he have to act this way toward me. Does he think that I'm just a sex object created by God for his visual pleasure? I dress really nice just for church and I am 100% USDA inspected WOMAN. But does that give him a right to oogle me?

Why, why, oh why?

I had been thru the same thing for years!!!! You would think you were a safe place, but you aren't.
2Tim 3:4-7
1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
6 For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,
7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

I am not trying to judge, but do you think this guys' heart is right??? I hate that you are going thru this, it just proves that

So, we live in a time where even the preachers are in the way of the world.

I have four opinions on this issue, and you may disregard them if you want. But please think about them.

1. Are you dressing seductively? Cleavage showing, tight clothes, short skirt, midriff bearing? Men are men, whether they are in ministry or not. They will gaze at beauty when it's placed in front of them.

2. Do you feel guilty about something? Perhaps you just feel convicted, and it seems that he is staring at you.

3. Do you sit in the same pew every time? Maybe he's staring at someone behind you or next to you.

4. And if what you are saying is correct and not something else I've mentioned here, then you need to find yourself a different church. There are lots of options out there. If you don't want to change churches, then just make eye contact and smile back at him. Maybe he gathers encouragement from you.

Confount him about it, or tell someone else in the churcjh, let other people know then they will keep an eye out for it aswell, then mayb they will confront him,

or maybe just find another church,
a church is a church no matter where you are, you dont go there for people you go there for god,

good luck

Try and dress particularly modestly (high necks looser blouse). Not that it's your fault at all he is supposed to be a shepherd and he is allowing himself to commit lust which he shouldn't. Stare him down when he looks at you to long. Don't bring it up to anyone... except for your husband or any other adult family member that goes to church with you. And make sure that you keep an eye on him and don't let him get away with anything with other women.
God bless, I'll be praying

Tell his wife before a sermon. She might deny it, but she'll watch him like a hawk during the sermon.

He has the right to look but not to make you feel uncomfortable about it. Go over his head to the bishop or whoever he answers too and tell them of your feelings. If that fails, you could try giving him the finger and see how he reacts!!!

PUHLEASE! You must be joking, right? This is not to say that there are not some corrupt preachers out there. But your remarks sounds utterly incredible.
