Start smoking again....I'm KIDDING.

Everything is still clearing out. Eithe that or you have a sore or something back there. Possilbly you're sinus' are draining.

Just go see your doctor and ask.

I'm not sure but gargle with luke warm salt water, 3 times a day
and see if that helps. I had the same thing but mine was caused
by my allergies, until I lost my voice. I get allergy shots every
week, until I started on every 2 weeks. But since it made things
worse I went back to every week and my voice came back.
And no itching in the throat.

When I get a tickle in my throat, and I do ocassionally, if I drink something (usually cold, but either should work) it goes away. If that doesn't help try letting a cough drop melt in your mouth. If one doesn't work, the other one usually does.

Good Luck

It is probably from quitting smoking. Your cilia(little hairs in throat and lungs) do that when they are healing. They've been "paved" with tar, so you can imagine what they're doing now that that tar is loosening off of them.
