I don't know the reason for this, but that's life. What you must remember is that we're all human and we all make mistakes. The bible tells us to keep our eyes on God and not man. As human beings we react in non-christian ways often, but if you're convicted you'll realize what you did was wrong and ask God for forgiveness. Then you must forgive yourself and try to do better.
Many of my brothers and sisters in Christ wouldn't look me in the eye or speak to me after I divorced my husband. I thought.......what hippocrates, but eventually I was able to pass it off and reminded myself to let it roll off me and learn a life lesson from the actions of others. I hope this helps you some.

I'm sorry this is the case with "a lot" of your Christian acquaintances. That's totally hypocritical, and any good Christian should not act like that.

There will always be wolves disguised as sheep. Talk to people who are actually involved with the church and i'm sure you'll see differently. Please don't throw out the batch because there are a few bad apples.

...All are sinners. Christians are saved sinners, who mess up from time to time. God calls us to holy lives and we fail and sin sometimes - Christians are not sinless, but should "sin less", as the saying goes.
...When it comes right down to it, God holds me responsible for my own actions, and no one else's - be sure you are living as you should.
...Jesus is the only one who can look you in the face and say, "Which one of you convicts Me of sin?" And, of course, the answer is nobody - 2 Corintians 5:21 says this: "He (God) made Him (Jesus) who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him (Jesus).
...I wish you a blessed eternity - I urge you to trust in Jesus as your Savior, if you haven't already.
