depends on the person. some people don't want to retire until their body tells them to, which might be 55 or 75.

No age is a good age to retire. Any age is a good age to retire. The main thing is to have saved up enough to spend for the rest of your life.

i think there should never be a retiring age. If ppl are still healthy, love their jobs, need money, live alone, .. they should be allowed to work. Let the ppl choose their retiring age. Say if they want to buy insurance, they choose their time and don't complain like playing lotto.

A good time to retire is when you are ready to retire. I did it at 47...Young enough to still enjoy life.

My original goal was 30, but my bank account said no. My revised goal is 55--seems quite likely.

I don't know. I've been off work for three weeks and am going nuts. One has to feel that they have a purpose in life. working makes me appreciate my off time.
