I like talking to people about the Bible. There are so many people out there that have no idea what they're talking about, they don't know what to believe in. We show our love for our neighbors by speaking to them about God's coming kingdom...and what it will do for mankind in the near future. I enjoy being one of Jehovah's Witnesses because of our genuine love for one another. There are over 6 million Jehovah's Witnesses world-wide. We're in over 230 countries. Over 4,000 languages. We would do anything for any one of our dear brothers and sisters. That's the kind of love Jesus said his disciples would have. And (in my opinion) we definitely have it. My memorable experience is...anytime I'm with one of my brothers or sisters...when I leave them, I feel like I'm on top of the world. They're so encouraging! :) :)

Most Jehovah's Witnesses cherish the spark of recognition in the eye of a householder who has just learned the truth about the bible's teachings.
Many of their bible students remark that they learn more in an hour with Jehovah's Witnesses than they did their entire adult life at some church in Christendom. Hearing those words of humble appreciation is a memorable experience for many if not most of the 6.5 million active Jehovah's Witness ministers around the world.

This is tough! I would say since my baptism for four years now I've been able to do more for Jehovah like auxiliary pioneering a few times since I'm still a student. I've had plenty of crazy memorable field service experiences I've sent to fellow witnesses. Some of the comments I've heard witnessing and on this site makes me so glad I'm a witness with all the confusion people have. And to the poster who said we call ourselves "Jews" you might want to consider the following. The scripture you might be referring to is Rev. 14:1-3 where it talks about the 144,000 sealed from every tribe of Israel. This is not to be taken literally.
Romans 2:28,29: "He is not a Jew who is on the outside , nor is circumcision that which on the inside upon the flesh. But he is a Jew who is one on the inside, and his circumcision is that of the heart by spirit, and not by a written code."
Galatians 3:26-29: "You are all, in fact, sons of God through your faith in Christ Jesus....There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor freeman; for you are all one person in union with Christ Jesus. Moreover, if you belong to Christ , you are really Abraham's seed, heirs with reference to a promise."
As for the last part of the remark I don't think a "real" witness would have condemned you to hell (hellfire) that's not part of our belief! They probably had a problem with the cross simply because of the command to not make carved images for worship_Ex.20:4 and other reasons. More info on site on the cross and other topics below. http://www.watchtower.org/library/rq/article_11.htm

Of the many, my most cherish is when a week prior to an international convention, I lost my job. My family and I had a choice to use all our savings and attend the convention or stay home and look for a job.
We put Jehovah first, and went to the convention. When I got home a message was waiting for me. It was from another company, and that they had a job waiting for me if I wanted it.
Putting Jehovah first is always best. We got to attend the convention and continued to support my family.

I remember one time this guy just got really mad at us, it was so hilarious! But otherwise, its good to see people who take an interest in the Bible. Most people generally ignore it these days. Even people who go to Church and claim to be Christian don't live according to anything the Bible says.
To the guy below, I'm a Christian, not a Jew. I'm not sure exactly what you're talking about.

The day I learned that God wasn't the cause of menstrual cramps. It was Eve's fault and could now blame someone about it!
Also, after 21 years of searching......the calming warmth of know the truth and not being defrauded (economically nor spiritually).

Mine was my baptism which just recently happened. I had so many people around me who loved me and who were so happy for me. I knew that I was making that reply to satan proving him wrong and I knew that I was making Jehovahs heart rejoice. :)

You reject non balievers, jesus rejects no one.
I was raised a wittness, at 17 i told my "compasinate" pasture that i was going to research outher religions, since that day the church has ex-comunicated me. they told my family not to spaeak to me, becouse i would lead them estray. I wore a cross to kingdom hall once, i had to write a essay on why i may be damned to hell for the worship of false idols.
you guys are the worst.
