Keep in touch via phone,e-mail etc and then once you are sure of mutual trust and sincerity, move over and be with each other. Afterall it's a small world and nothing is more important than true love.

First, believe in your relationship. It sounds hokey, but if you and your partner just assume and know that you will be together in the end, then you can make it work. The second part, though, is that there has to be a time on the near horizon when the distance will end. You both have to actively plan for how you will settle in the same place again. That means decisions like school and jobs have to all be filtered through the lens of how to get you two back together again. Otherwise, the long distance seems permanent and it won't last.

Call, Write, Make sure that you never ever hang up mad, Never fight on the phone, Always think of this...When your in a long distant relationship you wanna have some sort of normancy and so instead of talking once a week for like 30 minutes talk every single day for just 5 minutes. Believe me it makes the time your apart ALOT easier and that way every single day you getta hear their voice.

you have to have a lot of communication, in other words, be able to talk at least every day for over an hour. since you can not be with each other, you have to talk and update each other on ur lives and wat is new. also trust plays the biggest part in long distance relationships. if both people do not have 100% trust in each other, it will not work. these two things are most important in making LDR's work.

I have been in one for 2 years now. the key is trust, communication, and willingness to work through anything. MY g/f and I use a webcam with instant messangers so we can talk face to face. This is a great way to help things out untill you can really be next to one another.
