No, but I am mad at the fact that a person running for president of the USA is not given an IQ test. Who cares about a criminal, they all had air conditioning before public schools did, and 3 meals a day........lot's of American children growing up did not have this kind of luxury.

IQ really wouldn't tell you much most peoples IQ is right around 100. plus you are supposed to be tried by a jury of your PEERS

Even though people may not be educated in a collegiate way, they know right from wrong. That is why the prosecuters and the defense have the selection process.
And, no, I am not mad.
Why would I want to get paid nothing for taking time off work?
I would do it no problem if called but, I am not mad that I have not :-)

you are suppose to get a jury of your peers, but you don't get that either. iq intelligence and common sense aren't a criteria for jury duty. besides the judge gives jury instruction which is usually in there court room language to side with the prosecution and find the defendent guilty. they don't want you to think for yourself anyways. just do as he/she says, fair trial? not a chance.

Yes a little. It is hard to think we leave the leagal system in the hands of people with the brain power to become lawyers ans judges but at the end a group of poeple who are potentialy uninteligent have the ultimate ruleing on our justice systems ability to function in a fair manner.

doesn't really bother me. by keeping it luck-of-the-draw, you get more or less an even spread of people. plus they dont just choose 12 or however many and say "thats it. you're the jury." they get like 50 people and then go through and interview, etc.

you're supposed to get a jury of your peers, not a jury of the smartest people in the population, that'd be pretty elitist
