have had a crush on a friend at work for several months. He asked me out on a date a few months ago, but I said "no". I guess I was scared because we're friends and work together. He doesn't work with me anymore, I still see him almost every week and we hang out together and I want to date him. Did I miss my chance? WIll he ask me out again? What should I do?

You certainly didn't miss your chance. He just asked you for a date, right?? The two of you still hang out together and he still likes you... that seems obvious.

It's not like the two of you were dating and something happened. I would say things still have potential for looking bright!! But if you want the chance for romance, you should take the initiative. He probably won't ask again.

Time to pour on those feminine charms, girlfriend. :)

Don't just ask him when your hanging out. Meet him somewhere cozy yet casual. Make sure he catches the passing breeze of a sweet perfume your wearing, and then tell him...

When you do, I would also tell him why you said "no" last time. Tell him you've really been thinking about it and him. Smile, bat those eyelashes, make sure to say your sorry if his feelings got hurt, but that now your ready to give things a try.

He won't feel like his pride was wounded so much and now you'll be the girl he wanted to go out with asking HIM for a date. Trust me... unless he's already hooked with someone or some other major issue, he'd have to be a fool to not accept a proposal like that from you. =)

You did the right thing by saying no when you worked with him. Your instincts were correct, good for you! Now that you don't work with him, YES! Ask him out. He will say yes because he still shows interest in you by hanging out with you ever week. See, a lot of times when guys get turned down they either totally write you off or take what they can get (hang out with you). By now you should feel comfortable with him to ask him out. Best of luck to you!

This is 2006, if you want something and it's available, then you go for it. Here's what I think, you should ask him out this time, being that he asked you before and you told him no. He may be hesitant to ask you out again, in fear of being rejected. I say go for it girl, ask him out, before somebody else, beats you to that, "second chance at romance"! Do it ASAP, good luck!

well if he's already asked you out once, you know that he did it for a reason, ask him if he'd like to go out sometime and see where it goes,if he is too busy or has other plans than you will know he isn't interested anymore. If you really like him don't let him get away.

you could ask him. If you said no the first time he asked, he probably won't ask again. You need to make the move.

I think he might still like you, but doesn't want to be pushed away again. Smile at him, try flirting, then see what he'll do.

instead of waiting for him to ask, why don't you ask him to go out?
