NO, in fact hypnotism has been used since ages to retreive old uncomfortable memories !!

Yes. I was hypnotized to forget... I don't remember her name. Anyway it has worked pretty well for me, but I think the hypnotist must have been having fun at my expense because everytime someone says the word chicken I cluck. It wouldn't be so bad but I work at KFC. Or should I say I worked at KFC until yesterday when I was fired for clucking. The good news is I'm not sad about it and I feel perfectly rested and at peace.

Only if you are open to the suggestion. When you are hypnotized you still know what is going on, it's not like what you see in the movies.

If you were hypnotized to forget 3rd grade...would you remember how to multiply?
I think it's probably unwise to try such a thing but Im sure the military is aware of such a thing.
Brain damage also can do that.

I don't believe so.
And you shouldn't want to. Even with the pain, heartache, trouble, all of this is what makes you you! You won't become the person that God intended you to be if you just go and erase part of your memory! God doesn't give us more than we can handle. And what he gives us only makes us stronger. Even tho I know sometimes ya feel like you've had enough, and God is just giving you way too much, you will make it thru! I've said many times that I wish God would stop picking me to give me problems cuz I think I'm plenty strong!! Good luck and chin up!

Because you're in a subconcious state when hynotized, you can be temporarily hypnotized to forget somebody. However, once awakened, you will remember him/her again.

No..Its not even possible to hypnotize anyone. God is the only one that can do that.

Yes, you can. But, however, unless you conciously really want to forget about that person, even the slightest pit, you will. If you do not want to forget that person once so ever, then it will not work.
