First I would not be an ingnorant fool and would realize that this supposed "invading army" was removing a harmful dictator. Then I would embrace the new government that I could help determine with my voting and in general realize this is start of a better life.

Any man with a spine and a pair would fight when their country is invaded. I think that when planning the invasion the USA seems to have forgotten that they where dealing with proud groups of men who had just fought a eight year war that was sheer horror.If I was a Iraqi, even hating Saddam, I would resist any one who invaded my home.

I would fight for my country, but not like joining a band wants its men to carry a bomb and plunge into embassies. I would organize some kind of a guerrilla group or join one.
And, xiy, I've never seen or heard of anyone old or young, male or female, hoped that a foreign force to come and "liberate" them from their dictator. At least they could hope a guerrilla group would stand up to against the cruel government.

As a civilian there is really not much you could do, but then again it is unlikely the US or any other EU Country would invade Iraq in the first place.

If I was an average citizen. I would have praised Alluh that someone came to help overthrow one of the world's worst modern dictators. If I was that dictator I'm have chewed on a gun barrel. If I was Taliban I'd be upset that someone is ruining all my fun of killing, torturing and plotting terrorism all over the world.

It depends. If I was a Saddamy loyalist who benefitted from a tyranic regime, I would probably be fighting to get my power back. If I was Kurdish or Shia, whose family was slaughtered by Saddamy, I'd be joining the campaign to kill Saddamy loyalists.

But the real question....should not Iraqi's be more afraid of themselves then of Americans?
It is so obvious that Muslims are killing far more Muslims then Americans are.

be thankful they took out a murder like Saddam. its the terrorist who have a problem with us being there. oh also the spineless libs and Dem's. better known as the cut and run crowd.
