I know mac is packaged with it's own PDF reader. (preview) but i'd like to find a better free PDF reader.

As long as it's not Acrobat i'll try it out, and i'll make sure to pick a best answer if their is one. thanks!

To be honest, there's nothing you'll find that's better than "Preview" which is what Macs use by default. But if you're looking for something else, you can always get the Adobe Acrobat Reader. I personally hate this app though. I'm not sure what you mean by "better" - I mean either it displays the PDF or not, but feature-wise there's not much you'll gain from other apps.

Go for PDF Viewer 1.4 for Mac OS X

You can also open PDFs in Safari. Give that a shot?
